Game Modes
Training mode (TM): allows all players to train their skills for free, although they cannot earn anything in this mode. Players are provided with unlimited lives.
Single player mode (SPM): In this mode, players can select an arcade fee (determining their potential rewards probability) and play to earn RZ or RZP tokens. Players will only be provided with one life.
Training Mode Gameplay:
All Retro-Zone arcade games will be available to play in their original format (with a few minor twists). Each game consists of 10 levels. Level 1 being the easiest, and 10 the most difficult. TM allows players to repeat levels and hone their skills, absent of any risk or reward. TM simulates real gameplay, including the simulation of rewards. This is, however, only a simulation and any rewards earnt in TM will not be credited to the player-wallet.
Single Player Mode Gameplay:
To be eligible to play in SPM, players must hold a Retro-Zone Genesis NFT and they must also pay a small arcade fee. The minimum arcade fee is 5,000 RZ or RZP tokens.
Players can accrue tokens and receive rewards through various means as they progress through each level. Each game has its own universe, with unique digital assets and rewards to be claimed, as well as individual obstacles and challenges.
When a player has successfully completed a level, their tokens and rewards are safe. They can decide to either cash-out their winnings and start again, or risk it all to keep playing! Higher levels offer a higher probability of valuable and rare rewards, but is it worth the risk?
